Xu Pengfei

Xu Pengfei was born in Changchun in the Chinese province Jilin. Already in his schooldays he showed a great talent for music and drawing. He found a job as a flute player in a country group for twelve years. In 1979 his first cartoon was published. Five years later he was admitted to be a staff cartoonist for the Jilin Daily. He is editor in chief of Satire & Humor, People Daily. He is committeeman of the Cartoon Department of NAA.
