Apenootjes (AD, 1994)

Henk Spoel, who uses the pseudonym G. Wasco, is a representative of the Pseudo-Naïve comic school. He self-published comics llike 'Apenootjes', 'Wasco's Comics and Stories' and several issues of his own 'Wasco's Weekblad'. Other creations are 'Zomer' and 'Dottie Wervelwind'. He has contributed on a regular base to Zone 5300 and MUG magazine.

On Friday, 28 July 2006, Wasco opened a new exposition in Galerie Lambiek, with many original drawings, paintings and sculptures. Apart from comics and art, Wasco also sings in the bands Heveg and De MoMa's (the 'Mothers of Modern Art').
