Vallès is a Catalan comic artist, filmmaker, editor and TV scriptwriter. In the 1980s he contributed to underground publications such as Makoki and La Cúpula, with comics like 'Los Hermanos Aguirre', 'La Familia Guarro', 'Javi, el Hijo de la Portera', 'Amor de Madre' and 'Rodolfo, el Vendedor de la Sex-shop'. Together with fellow filmmaker Bellmunt, he edited Muchas Gracias, and coordinated the relaunch of the satirical publication Por Favor.
Vallès has furthermore published his work in Actual, A la calle, Bel, Bésame Mucho, Complot!, Cul-de-Sac, Diccionario Político, El Independiente, El Papus, El Noticiero Universal, El Periodíco de Catalunya, El Víbora, Europa Viva, Flashmen, Garbo, Hermano Lobo, Histeria Semanal, Injuve, Jano, Macho, Mata Ratos, Mono Gráfico, Mundo Joven, Rock Comix, Siesta, Tele-Cómico, TMEO and Userda.
