Hiroyuki Takei began his career drawing the series 'SD Hyakkaten' for a fanzine. He then assisted Nobuhiro Watsuki and Tamakichi Sakura on their work and contributed stories to the video game weekly Famicon Tsuushin. For Shônen Jump, he made his first big series, 'Butsu Zone' ('Buddha Zone') and his longest running, the spiritual 'Shaman King'. |
