Solveig Muren Sanden

The Norwegian artist Solveig Muren Sanden studied art in Oslo, where she began her career as an illustrator. She took over the comic series 'Tuss og Troll' and 'Smørbukk' from the artist Jens R. Nilssen in the magazine Norsk Barneblad. 'Smørbukk' was created in 1938, and Sanden drew about 60 episodes with the character in the period 1957-1981. 'Smørbukk' was continued by Håkon Aasnes from 1983.
