Jenni Rope was born in Lahti, Finland in 1977. She studied in Helsinki and London and became a comic artist, graphic designer and illustrator. Together with Jussi Karjalainen she founded publishing house Napa in 1997. She created comics such as the newspaper strip 'Miss Simon Ginlemon' (1999), the flip-book 'Kinomatti' (2001), graphic novels 'Monday' (2002) and 'Tuesday' (2003) and the flip-book 'Wednesday' (2003). Her work also appeared in several Finnish comic magazines and French anthologies. |
