Yamada Naito began her career in 1987, when she was still studying. Her first manga, 'Kiss', was published in Young Magazine of the pubishing house Kôdansha. After working as a mangaka for about 10 years, she moved to Paris. With manga serials like 'Girl Friday', 'Beautiful World' and 'Corduroy', she is one of the icons of present day independent mangas. |
