George Mandel

George Mandel drew 'The Woman in Red', a comics series about a masked woman solving mysteries and fighting crime from the 1940s. The comic fist appeared in Thrilling Comics #2 of March 1940. It is not sure who wrote the first story, but many of the early ones were written by Richard Hughes. Mandel has also worked for Hillman Periodicals, Harvey Comics and some other publishers.
