Co Loerakker is a Dutch comic artist and illustrator of children's books. He is best known for the 'Van Nul tot Nu' series, which he created with writer Thom Roep in the 1980s. The series deals with the entire history of The Netherlands in five episodes. The humorous way of describing the past, without making it a dull summation of facts, led to regular usage of the books in primary education.
