Bart van Leeuwen studied advertising at the ABK in his native town Rotterdam. From 1961 to 1963, he drew the strip 'Roffeltje' in De Havenloods. He then started the newspaper comic 'Brammetje Fok' in cooperation with the detective novelist Cor Docter (1925-2006). This strip, about a sailor, appeared in several Dutch local newspapers from 1964 to 1972. |
