Pal Korcsmaros is a Hungarian comic artist who began his career working for the press in the press in the 1940s. His first significant comic book work was the 1958 comic adaptation of 'The Count of Monte Christo'. He also made comic versions for the works of the Hungarian writer P. Howard (Rejtö Jenö).

Korcsmaros was one of the founding artists of Fules, the single most important outlet of the comics genre in communist era Hungary. By the late sixties he all but had to give up drawing comics due to eye problems. He died in 1975.
