Clayton Knight

Clayton Knight and his scenarist Eddie Rickenbacker, two ex-pilots themselves, created the aviation series 'Ace Drummond'. Launched as a Sunday page in 1938, 'Ace Drummond' was distributed by King Features to several newspapers. The series ran until 1940. The series was adapted to film in 1937 to become one of the first filmed series for the new television medium. Clayton Knight is also the author of books on airplanes.
