Gérard Cousseau, better known as Gégé, entered the comic world as an assistant to Fournier in 1978. He collaborated on Fournier's series 'Bizu', which was published in Spirou. For that same magazine, he created the gag series 'Gontran et les Autres' a year later, which ran until 1982. Later on, he joined the Disney-France team, where he started writing comics of 'Donald Duck', 'Mickey Mouse', and 'Oncle Picsou', but mainly 'Disney Babies'. He often writes his Disney comics in cooperation with Belom, with whom he also started series like 'Les Ripoupons' (art by Gégé himself) and 'Robert le Robot' (art by Tony Fernandez).
