Luis Destuet was an Argentine artist who worked for the Brazilian Disney productions. He has done Disney comics since the 1940s. He began his collaboration with Abril publishers in the early 1950s, for which he did several comics with 'Donald Duck' and 'Jose Carioca' throughout this decade. He also did the first covers of Pato Donald, the Brazilian Disney magazine. |

As the first South American Disney artist, he taught young artists to work in the typical Disney style. In the 1960s, he began his own comic, 'Trabucu y Trinquete', which was published in the magazine Salgari. In addition, he did some foreign-market stories for the American Disney Studios in 1963-64. |
